Anguished screams can be heard with the man's pained expression clearly visible as he is helped out of the water.

But any hopes of his friends coming to his rescue are soon dashed.

Four men are tasked with helping to end their pal's unfortunate ordeal but his discomfort is prolonged as they struggle to relinquish the crustacean's grip.

As time goes on it becomes apparent none of the men can offer the relief the man is in desperate need of.

Eventually, the crab's grasp is partially broken as one man rips it away from the intimate area.

But the unpleasant experience still isn't over as a claw remains seemingly clutching to one of his testicles.

The bizarre clip, believed to have been filmed in Thailand, ends with a friend snapping off the remaining pincer as the freed man jumps to his feet.

Some social media users questioned whether the footage was genuine when it emerged.
