Five canal boat owners have been terrorised by an almost 20-strong gang of yobs who hurled stones and jumped between the barges.
The teens jumped up and down on the boats, hopping between the two watercrafts, as the worried owners tried desperately to escape.
The men and women, who asked not to be identified, were trying to navigate a lock on the Rochdale Canal in Failsworth, when the youths approached them, according to the Manchester Evening News .
The yobs began terrorising the boat owners, and the victims have shared video footage of the ordeal in the hope of catching those responsible.
Speaking of the incident, at 3pm on Monday, one member of the five-strong boat crew said: “For the women it was a very, very scary moment, it was nerve-racking for the guys as well.
