Newly released emails expose fresh examples of the Clinton Foundation asking for and receiving favors from the State Department under then-Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, according to conservative watchdog Judicial Watch.
The emails, from top Clinton aide Huma Abedin's account, were among 1,600 documents turned over by the State Department in connection with Judicial Watch's Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) lawsuit.
Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton pointed out on "America's Newsroom" that Clinton told Congress under oath that she turned over all government emails, yet new emails sent to and from her account are still emerging.
"It raises questions about her veracity," Fitton said.
He said this latest release contains email after email of Clinton Foundation official Doug Band coordinating with Abedin to do favors for foundation donors, who were going through Band to get access and favors from the State Department.
"Visas to Cuba, meetings in Singapore, other types of activity like that. It's there in black and white," Fitton said. "And I don't understand why the Justice Department hasn't gotten its act together and reinitiated an investigation as to what went on here. Because we all know Comey's investigation was a sham. They need to restart it up."
He argued that the clear and mounting evidence of pay-to-play and mishandling of classified information "warrant a serious criminal investigation" by an independent Trump Justice Department.
