A police officer has been 'relieved of his duty' after he was recorded saying he would 'choke the life out' of a suspect while he was arresting him.
Joseph Bogard, 32, has had his weapon and badge revoked in Ohio, USA, after video emerged of an arrest.
Bogard arrested Timothy Davis on September 1 - and video appears to show him slinging punches at the suspect.
He was also recorded telling a Davis he would 'arm-bar' him.
A voice recording caught him saying: "And when that still doesn't work, I'm going to choke the life out of you."
Chief Kim Jacobs, of the Columbus Division, announced an internal investigation after the footage emerged.
