A notorious prison described as the UK's most haunted - where executed inmates lie in unmarked graves - is now hosting overnight guests
The Shepton Mallet Prison once held some of the most dangerous and violent convicts in the country, with the Kray Twins among those incarcerated there.
Now the building in Somerset is being used for ghost hunts - but it is not for those of a nervous disposition.
Spending the night in the former jail involves actively searching for the spirits which are said to inhabit this haunted prison, the Bath Chronicle reports.
Organisers say the nights are 'daunting' and 'terrifying'.
