Diver Films Massive Tornado Heading Straight For His Boat

A diver filmed a tornado approaching as he watched from a boat in the sea - and he was even calm enough to pose for a video selfie.

A twister can be seen hitting the sea just metres away from the diver who was powerless to get out of the way.

It shows a huge cloud of water spray rising into the air where the whirlwind hits the surface of the sea.

The footage was captured by the diver in a small boat off Croatia's Istrian peninsula.

At one point the diver turns his back on the phenomenon to smile and give a v-sign to the camera.
