A terrified young shop assistant was tied up and left in torrential rain by masked raiders wearing bright blue ponchos.
The balaclava-clad men stormed the newsagents and tied the female worker up with cable ties by her wrists and ankles.
The two men were recorded on CCTV stuffing cigarettes and alcohol into a white sheet, which they had brought with them.
According to the Derby Telegraph the pair then ran off from the One Stop shop in Etwall
David Hollingworth was leaving a fish and chip shop next door to the newsagent when he heard the woman shouting: “Help me, I’ve been robbed”.
The 73-year-old said: “It was really dark and raining so I couldn’t actually see the young woman, but I heard her calling for help.
