One of Holland's most wanted criminals was pulled over by police - before he sped off as officers tried to surround the vehicle.
The man, known as Luciano D., has been on the National Detection List since June when he fled authorities.
He was caught last night in Amsterdam after the police checked a group of young people in a car following a report of a home burglary nearby.
One of them gave a false name - it was Luciano and he then he tried to drive away.
Footage of the incident shows the car speeding off as loud bangs can be heard, possibly gunshots, as officers surround the vehicle.
Four officers are seen plus a police dog initially.
Several people get out of the vehicle in tense scenes.
Three of the officers - without the dog - draw their weapons.
Suddenly, the car speeds off and more bangs can be heard.
Luciano was found later in a garage at the Jacob van Maerlantstraat, At5 reports.
It was reported he was arrested for two armed robberies.
