Dramatic footage has captured the moment people fled in terror after a car allegedly ploughed into pedestrians outside London's Natural History Museum.
Terrified bystanders are seen running and dragging young children while screams are heard in a short video posted on Twitter.
Filmmaker Ellie Mackay uploaded the clip as she told how armed police and helicopters were scrambled "in seconds" near the museum in South Kensington.
She tweeted: "Evacuation at southkensington Police and armed guards, helicopters on scene in seconds londonmet."
Shocked eyewitnesses described how the vehicle "drove into people" near the famous museum , with victims seen being treated in the street.
