Tina Fey's 30 Rock TV show had joked about Harvey Weinstein taking advantage of actresses five years before his sexual harassment allegations publicly surfaced.
The joke featured in a season six episode of the hit NBC show, which aired back in 2012.
Jane Krakowski's character Jenna Maroney was speaking out about how she wasn't afraid of anyone in show business and specifically mentioned the embattled movie mogul by name.
'Oh please, I'm not afraid of anyone in show business,' she tells Tracy Morgan's character Tracy Jordan.
'I turned down intercourse with Harvey Weinstein on no less than three occasions... out of five.'
It comes as the movie mogul was ousted from The Weinstein Company - which he founded with his brother Bob in 2005 - by its board of directors on Sunday.
In a statement, the company said: 'In light of new information about misconduct by Harvey Weinstein that has emerged in the past few days, the directors of The Weinstein Company - Robert Weinstein, Lance Maerov, Richard Koenigsberg and Tarak Ben Ammar - have determined, and have informed Harvey Weinstein, that his employment with The Weinstein Company is terminated, effective immediately.'
30 Rock also joked about Bill Cosby back in 2009 regarding sex assault allegations leveled against him.
'You've got a lot of nerve getting on the phone with me after what you did to my Aunt Paulette!' a character hit back at someone pretending to be Cosby.
