LAUREL, Md. (ABC7) —
"Some type of explosion" in the back of an Olive Garden in Laurel, Md. Wednesday afternoon left a massive hole through its structure, Mark Brady a spokesperson for Prince George's Fire Department tweeted with an attached video.
In the video, Brady says there was no active fire or reports of injuries.
A spokesperson for the city of Laurel called it a "gas explosion" and says around 15 employees and 70 guests escaped.
Cherry Lane and 4th Street were shut down following the explosion.
The restaurant is located at 1465 Baltimore Avenue.
