This is the astonishing moment a female cop lost her cool and charged at chocolate shop staff trying to close their store - telling one she would 'knock her the f*** out'.

Shocking mobile phone footage shows Amanda Villafane - an NYPD officer who is also a published novellist - flying into a rage when she was asked to leave because the store had closed for the evening.

Despite initial efforts by her boyfriend to calm her, Villafane can be seen taking off her jacket and screaming at stunned workers.

She also produced her police ID badge and fought with another officer - leaving the floor covered in "blood and chocolate".

The 32-year-old has been suspended without pay and faces criminal charges, the New York Post reports.
