Armed gang wearing forensic suits point gun at shop worker's head in terrifying sledgehammer raid

A supermarket worker had a gun pointed directly at his head as a gang of thugs carried out a terrifying raid .

The robbers were dressed in forensic-style white body suits as they ran around the store brandishing the gun as well as a sledgehammer, hockey stick and saw.

Footage shows the four masked men burst into Fitton Hill Superstore in Oldham, Greater Manchester, and threaten the two staff members.

Thieves then used the sledgehammer to smash up the store, as one of them attempted to break into the cash machine using the saw, sending sparks flying everywhere, the Manchester Evening News reported.

One also tried to break in to the till, but after a quick whack decided to move on.
