GoPro scenes from the war in Iraq show volunteer combat medics providing first aid medical treatment to a kurdish tank crew whose T-55 tank was hit by ISIS RPG fire during combat near Mosul on the battlegrounds of Iraq.
The men are members of the Academy of Emergency Medicine (AEM), an officially registered medical NGO based in Slovakia (EU).
As an NGO, they provide frontline emergency medical care and training while assisting civilians and coalition security and armed forces in remote areas throughout the world.
Currently, the Academy of Emergency Medicine is operating in Iraq.
As the offensive against so-called Islamic state continues, their certified paramedics with military, police and civilian background and doctors are working to save human lives along some of the most volatile and kinetic frontlines in Iraq and Kurdistan.
