Man cradling toddler fights with woman shopper over who will get hands on cut-price shoes

A row over who would get their hands on a pair of cut-price shoes in a shop quickly escalated to a man cradling a toddler being repeatedly hit and a woman falling to the floor.



A mother and daughter were captured on a mobile phone filming the incident trying to snatch the shoes from another shopper who was visiting the store with her husband and children.



But the woman, who had her hands first on the shoes, was not at all happy to give them up.



Insults were hurled on both sides and things quickly became heated - leading to the man carrying the child on his hip having to fend off a woman hitting him with an umbrella.



CCTV showed the woman fall down before she quickly jumps up to her feet as the man's children rush to hug him, visibly shaken by the ordeal.
