A bloodied man lay dying on a hospital floor as doctors and other staff did nothing to immediately save him, it was claimed.
The drunk man had sought medical help after he was reportedly battered by a group of men as he celebrated his 47th birthday.
Distressing CCTV footage from the hospital shows him stumbling through a door and then falling backwards as his head bounces off the tiled floor.
A staff member walks over and looks at the blood-soaked man as he tries to get back on his feet.
She leaves and checks on him a few more times, but he soon collapses onto the floor, where staff check on him again and then try to drag him along the corridor, leaving a streak of blood.
His body twitches and his chest is seen heaving as the employees walk away, leaving him alone on the floor.
Russian media reports claimed doctors and nurses at the hospital in Smolensk failed to act for more than 20 minutes as the patient lay dying.
Doctors have claimed that the man received immediate help, and he was drunk and rude towards staff.
The incident happened in June but the footage didn't emerge until Wednesday.
The man had celebrated his birthday at a bar but then got into a fight with three other people and was beaten with knuckle dusters, Life and Readovka reported.
An ambulance was called and he was taken to hospital at 11pm with serious head injuries.
He was placed on a gurney and was able to answer questions, giving staff his name and date of birth, and explain what happened to him.
But his family claims hours passed without him receiving proper help.
CCTV footage recorded at 4.20am shows the patient, with blood on his face and a torn t-shirt, opening the door and falling to the floor.
He tries to get up several times before collapsing onto his back, and appears to be in agony.
As he lay mortally wounded, staff are seen taking care of other patients and even taking out the rubbish, Readovka reported.
His groaning and wheezing drew the attention of medical personnel and he is finally carried away at 4.48am.
His family told local media that he was in a coma in intensive care for 11 days before he died without regaining consciousness.
They have called for a criminal investigation to no avail, according to reports.
A family member told Readovka: "If they had helped him on time, if they had not brushed him aside the life of a brother, father and son could have been saved."
But doctors rejected the family's claims, telling Life that medical assistance was provided to the man immediately.
Staff also claimed that he was drunk and rude to staff.
