Two blazing fireball meteors seen plummeting to Earth were captured on camera in southern England.
The fireballs, brighter than a normal meteor, were spotted from Falmouth to Herne Bay, south Wales, and as far north as Lancaster.
As many as 163 members of the public reported the sightings to the American Meteor Society (AMS), with some coming as far away as Nantes in France.
Several people, included those in Hampshire village Church Crookham and Wilcot in Wiltshire, captured videos of a large bright object falling from the sky.
In the video, an object is seen to flare up before dwindling away.
