Brazen thug threatens to swing bag at pensioner then waits until his back is turned before flooring him

A brazen thug threatened to swing his backpack at a pensioner before waiting until his back was turned to floor him in the street.



The elderly man sustained serious injuries after he was struck in the face from behind in what police said was an unprovoked attack near Hollywood, Los Angeles.



Sickening footage shows the yob carrying a backpack as he strolls along a street while the elderly victim walks towards him in the opposite direction.



The man, dressed in a grey sweatshirt, dark pants and wearing a beanie hat, is seen turning his body towards the pensioner before motioning to hit him with the object.



The pensioner can be seen taking a step away from the man before continuing to walk along the street now with the man stalking him.
