Dramatic bodycam footage has captured the moment a hero cop saved a newborn's life when she began choking and stopped breathing.
Tiny baby Bella had started to go blue as her panicked mum Tina Adkins held her in her arms, wrapped in a pink blanket.
A harrowing call to the emergency services has been released as the family desperately tried to help the young tot.
With his bodycam video recording he could be seen bounding up three flights of stairs to be suddenly confronted with the terrified mum and baby.
He took the baby in his arms and began performing CPR for about a minute before Bella opened her eyes and started breathing.
The officer was also praised by his Sgt Phillip Collard and Savannah Chatham's police chief Joseph Lumpkin.
Sgt Collard said: "Officer Eng did not hesitate to jump into action. Because of his compassionate and quick response, he saved the life of this little girl."
Chief Lumpkin described officer Eng's actions as an “exceedingly heartfelt, lifesaving performance”.
