A huge wildfire broke out in the hills near Santa Paula, California. It is reported to be spreading fast due to 50mph (80kph) winds. At least 27,000 have been evacuated as of Tuesday.
One person was killed when their car rolled over as they attempted to evacuate.
Over 500 homes have been evacuated and the Red Cross Center at Ventura Fairgrounds is filled. The fire remains uncontained and is said to be threatening multiple towns across Ventura County.
