Passers-by ignore woman as she is brutally murdered in prolonged street attack

Cars and pedestrians ignored a woman as she was repeatedly stabbed to death in a brutal street attack.



Footage shows the terrified and defenceless woman trying to make an escape as she is attacked by a knife-wielding man.



He captures her in the road, pulling her to the floor and stabbing her repeatedly.



The victim can be seen getting back up and trying to gather her things, but the man returns and continues his onslaught.



He leaves her for a second time and she desperately tries to get back to her car.



But the man returns and stabs her again leaving her body in the road.



During the attack in Fushun City in north-east China, the woman is spotted by people in cars and those walking by.



But none stepped forwards to help her.



The suspect has not been identified and remains at large.



The identity of the woman in her 30s was also not shared in the Chinese media.



The clip has caused outrage on Chinese social media, where netizens are surprised by the lack of help the woman received during the fatal assault.
