EPIC FAIL! MSNBC Host Inadvertently Calls a Democratic Politician a Prostitute, Then Insinuates Pres. Trump Meant That

Scorning the reappearance of his female accusers, President Trump on Tuesday went after Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand (D-N.Y.), who called for his resignation on Monday. "Lightweight Senator Kirsten Gillibrand, a total flunky for Chuck Schumer and someone who would come to my office 'begging' for campaign contributions not so long ago (and would do anything for them), is now in the ring fighting against Trump. Very disloyal to Bill & Crooked-USED!" -- ("Crooked" is a reference to Hillary Clinton. Gillibrand recently said that in retrospect, Bill Clinton's should have resigned during the Monica Lewinskey scandal.) In response, Sen. Gillibrand tweeted to Trump: "You cannot silence me or the millions of women who have gotten off the sidelines to speak out about the unfitness and shame you have brought to the Oval Office."



Gillibrand has made a name for herself by standing up for the many women who have alleged sexual improprieties on the part of politicians or other famous men. Gillibrand was the first Senate Democrat to call on fellow Democrat Al Franken to resign. Trump's critics in the media went wild over the president's tweet, berating him for suggesting, they said, that Gillibrand performed sexual favors for Trump's campaign money. "Morning Joe's" Mika Brzezinski said she was literally shaking with anger after Trump's 8 a.m. tweet. "Let's just say it!" she said. "He's suggesting that Kirsten Gillibrand would have sex with him in order to get campaign contributions. The president actually tweeted that this morning!" -- "That's delusional," contributor Elise Jordan said. The show's hosts said it's time for the women around Trump to speak out or quit:



"Maybe it's Ivanka Trump -- maybe she will finally stand up for what is right, since her father just literally sexually harassed in a cruel way a woman on Twitter," Brzezinski said. Elise Jordan said Trump has "weaponized his platform in a way that no politician in this country ever has agaainst a gender." Jordan said she doesn't think it will be tolerated, "because this country is having a cultural moment right now." "We're done," Brzezinski agreed. In an earlier tweet on Tuesday, Trump wrote: "Despite thousands of hours wasted and many millions of dollars spent, the Democrats have been unable to show any collusion with Russia - so now they are moving on to the false accusations and fabricated stories of women who I don’t know and/or have never met. FAKE NEWS!" Three of the women who accused Trump of sexually harassing them during the campaign appeared Monday on Megyn Kelly's show on MSNBC, then held a news conference, demanding that Congress investigate Trump for his alleged misbehavior.
