An 'idiotic' tree protester has been filmed desperately trying to cling onto a branch as workers are trying to feed it into wood chopper.
The trees had been felled in Sheffield and as the workers were feeding them into a wood chopper the man jumped onto a branch and refused to let go.
It was a frantic bid to stop the wood from being shredded but the stunt has been branded "idiotic" by witnesses.
The man, dressed in a hat and smart tweed jacket, was filmed and the footage uploaded to a page for forestry and agriculture in the UK, Arb UK.
The clip was captioned with: "Must watcg. Seriously, protesters hanging onto limbs while they are trying to feed into the chipper.
