The panel on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” said on Friday that the Trump administration has made the United States “the bad guys” in the world.
Anchor Mika Brzezinski read a tweet from former CIA Director John Brennan, criticizing U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley’s response to an anti-Israeli resolution at the UN:
Trump Admin threat to retaliate against nations that exercise sovereign right in UN to oppose US position on Jerusalem is beyond outrageous. Shows @realDonaldTrump expects blind loyalty and subservience from everyone—qualities usually found in narcissistic, vengeful autocrats.

“When did we become the bad guys?” MSNBC contributor Donny Deutsch asked in response to Haley’s speech. “That’s the bad guys talking. Bad guys talk that way.”
Deutsch commented that America turned into the bad guys on November 8, 2016, the date of President Trump’s election.
Co-host Joe Scarborough called Haley’s threat to end U.S. funding to the UN as “breathtaking.”
“You just aren’t smart if you believe that threatening [to cut funding will work],” he said. “There is no diplomat in Nikki Haley. What she did yesterday is just an embarrassment to the United States.”
