At least 40 people are dead - including students - after multiple explosions at a news agency and a neighbouring cultural centre in Kabul, it is reported.
The blasts, which went off in the Afghan capital today, killed dozens of victims and left at least 30 others wounded, officials and witnesses said.
Many of the victims are said to be students.
Interior Ministry deputy spokesman Nasrat Rahimi said at least 40 had died in the attack, the latest in a series to have hit media organizations in Kabul.
The blasts, thought to have been carried out by suicide bombers, occurred during a morning panel discussion on the 38th anniversary of the Soviet invasion of Sunni-majority Afghanistan at the Tabian Social and Cultural Centre.
