A British Airways pilot was forced to make a dramatic aborted landing while battling gale-force winds during Storm Eleanor.
Terrifying footage, shot from inside the cabin, shows the flight from Edinburgh to London City Airport being thrown about as it approaches the runway.
The strength of the storm meant the pilot has to abort his first landing but was able to touch down on his second attempt.
Passengers were full or praise for the pilot's actions with Graham Kirk tweeting: "London City: where each flight today comes with a free rollercoaster ride.
"Very sporting go-around on today’s BA8705 from EDI. Someone buy that captain a beer!"
