This is the moment a 61-year-old takes a hammer and a meat cleaver to poker machines in front of stunned hotel patrons.
The man was caught on film as he entered the busy Dooley's Catholic Club at Lidcombe in Sydney's west on Sunday and started smashing the machines at random.
One man filmed the bizarre rampage on his phone, following the 61-year-old as he left the club.
He was taken to Auburn Police Station where he assisted the police with their inquiries.
The 61-year-old was charged with destroying or damaging property and being armed with the intent to commit an indictable offence, Nine News reported.
He was released on bail due to appear before court later this week.
