This is the terrifying moment a drunk driver narrowly missed a lamppost by millimetres when he lost control of his car in icy weather.
CCTV footage of the accident begins by showing another driver motoring along and coping perfectly well with the conditions.
Seconds later however the footage shows the vehicle being driven by the drunk driver careering down the same road in the opposite direction.
However, rather than heading in a straight line, it is already turning in towards the pavement before spinning and slamming into a wall with sickening force.
It misses a concrete lamppost by what looks like mere millimetres - narrowly avoiding tragedy.
