A teenager was thrown 30 feet into the air after he dropped a banger down a manhole and it exploded.
The huge explosion launched the youngster into the air but miraculously he survived.
CCTV shows the boy playing with the manhole cover in the road, as adults walk by and ignore what he's up to.
The boy is then joined by a friend, who watches as he manages to squeeze the small firework through a gap in the metal and down to the sewer below.
But just seconds later the manhole explodes from the ignited biogas fumes from the firework and the boy is launched into the air.
It is the third such incident in China in the last five days.
