A pair of wild tigers scared a biker and his friend who were riding along a rural road when they came face-to-face with them.
The pair froze to the spot as they were hemmed in by the big cats, and a man filmed the action from the relative safety of a car a few metres away.
The motorcyclist suddenly realised there was a wild tiger in front of him as well as one behind and decided to stay still.
The unnamed biker, filmed on a dirt road somewhere in the western Indian state of Maharashtra, clearly does not want to provoke either of the tigers into an attack by suddenly revving the engine.
India's National Tiger Conservation Authority says it expects the population of the big cats to swell from 2,226 in 2014 to almost 3,000 by next year, the result of better habitat protection.
But tigers are still listed as Endangered on the International Union for Conservation of Nature's Red List.
