Two bungling burglars who ransacked an elderly woman's home tried to cover their tracks by stealing the CCTV - but the footage had already been downloaded.
The thieves were caught clearly on cameras in the 83-year-old victim's home and police have now released the high definition footage to urge the public to help them catch the criminals.
The men smashed open a key safe box outside the woman's home in Birmingham and then let themselves in at 11am, on Monday.
They then lied to the elderly woman, telling her they were from the gas board.
