A brave jewellery shop owner tried to defend his store from a trio of armed robbers by fending them off with his own machete.
The astonishing moment was captured on CCTV cameras and shows the elderly man grabbing the long-bladed knife before being sent crashing to the ground.
Police are now asking anyone with information on the raid at Rofia Jewellers in Dudley to come forward, Birmingham Live reports.
Footage shows the 82-year-old working behind the jewellery display when three masked armed robbers storm the store.
