A news anchor entertained viewers watching a high speed police chase when he started to commentate as though he was watching an exciting sports game.
The reporter was following the action in a helicopter after a man wanted for assault with a deadly weapon went on the run earlier this week.
And he seemed particularly excited when the suspect got taken down by a K9 police dog.
The alleged carjacker, later identified as 37-year-old Antonio Padilla Jr, is first seen in the aerial footage causing several crashes on a four-lane carriageway, before driving in the emergency lane.
Padilla then jumps multiple sets of red light as undercover officers from the Garden Grove Police Department in Orange County, Los Angeles, follow in hot pursuit.
