Florida school shooter Nikolas Cruz remained silent in court on Wednesday as a judge entered a not-guilty plea on his behalf.
The 19-year-old suspect faces the death penalty for the gun massacre at a school in Parkland on Valentine's Day which killed 17 people.
Cruz chose to remain silent during a hearing in Broward County circuit court in Fort Lauderdale.
Judge Elizabeth Scherer entered a not-guilty plea on his behalf for 17 counts each of first-degree murder and attempted murder for the shooting spree at Marjorie Stoneman Douglas High School.
