A violent thug who plunged a hunting knife into a man's groin putting him at "death's door" has had his sentence increased.
Vandross Zion Williams launched the attack on a club-goer in Bristol city centre.
The victim later had a heart attack in hospital but luckily he survived, the Bristol Post reports.
Jurors convicted Williams of wounding with intent and possessing an offensive weapon over the August 2017 attack and he was locked up for nine years at Bristol Crown Court in January.
