A shocking video has revealed the machine that police can use to download your phone data - and they don’t even need a warrant to do it.
Within minutes of connecting with a phone, the machine allows officers to extract a huge amount of personal data.
This includes location data, conversations on encrypted apps, call logs, emails, text messages, passwords and internet searches, as well as deleted data.
The clip was shared on BBC’s Victoria Derbyshire amid calls by Privacy International to stop police from being able to access your data without a warrant.
