Footage has been uploaded to social media showing the shocking moment a Gold Coast reveller slams a police officer into the pavement during a night out.
The footage, shot over the Easter weekend and appearing online last week, shows the man scuffling with the uniformed police officer in Cavill Avenue, the main party strip of Surfers Paradise.
During the fight the man flips the officer directly on to his back on to the concrete and lands on top of him.
