On Facebook Live in early April, actress, wife of actor Kevin Sorbo of “Hercules” and “Andromeda” fame, and co-writer of the film “Let There Be Light” Sam Sorbo explained how her and her husband apparently found out first hand that tolerance is “an interesting conundrum when it’s on the other foot.”
“I’m recording this PSA, and the guy that has come to do the teleprompter for us, apparently, had a problem with it and just felt so conflicted because, I guess, he must be pro-abortion, that he left,” stated Sam Sorbo. “And I find this so fascinating because he literally, he walked out.”
Later in her Facebook Live post, Sorbo continued, “[T]here have been court cases where, ‘No, you have to bake that cake, or you’re no longer allowed to be in business.’ It’s an interesting conundrum when it’s on the other foot, right?”
According to Sam Sorbo, she and her husband were creating a pro-life Public Service Announcement (PSA) video for the Heartbeat Bill, also known as the “Heartbeat Protection Act of 2017,” which has support across pro-life organizations except for one group the National Right to Life Committee (NRLC). While prepping for the PSA, the guy present to do the teleprompter apparently felt uncomfortable with the Sorbo’s pro-life stance and walked out, leaving the Sorbos shorthanded for their PSA.
