Armed police have arrested a man at a busy university campus amid reports of students hiding and running in fear.
Some students are said to have been kept in 'lockdown' in a library as officers descended on the University of Lincoln today.
Police carrying firearms were spotted outside the Great Central Library, near the Engine Shed music venue, Lincolnshire Live reports.
Dramatic footage has since emerged showing a number of officers surrounding a man outside the library on the Brayford campus.
In the clip, the male can be seen holding his hands above his head, as armed police and an officer with a dog move towards him.
