A quick-thinking driver had a lucky escape after his car caught fire during a pit stop during the Indianapolis 500.
Zach Veach, driving the number 26 Honda for Andretti Autosport team, had pitted for a new tyre and change of fuel when a spillage caused his car to become engulfed in flames.
The fire quickly spread from the fuel tank to the chassis with the also engulfed in flames - which could have spelt disaster for the pit crew.
Remarkably, rather than abandoning the vehicle, a member of the pit crew appears to tell Veach to 'drive on.'
