Roseanne Show writer, Wanda Sykes announced today, that she was quitting the show after Roseanne tweeted about Barack Obama’s sidekick, Valerie Jarrett, saying she was like the “Muslim Brotherhood and the Planet of the Apes.”
So, what was it exactly that offended Wanda Sykes so much? Was it the comment about the “Muslim Brotherhood” or the “Ape” comment? And what about Wanda Sykes remarks about Donald Trump after he won the election, that were so bad, the audience booed her off the stage?
During her “comedy” act, Wanda Sykes called President Trump an “orangutan” (an ape). She started by saying, “I can’t believe that Donald Trump won! I couldn’t believe that we elected an orangutan to run the country. I was like, ‘are you f*cking kidding me? They voted for an orangutan?
