A drunk man shouted racist threats to kill two young boys and followed them into their yard waving a ‘ Dirty Harry ’ style gun.
Christopher Jones, 49, has been locked up for four years after the unprovoked incident in Stockton, County Durham in April.
The huge, eight-inch long black gas-powered revolver Jones used to threaten the two boys - 10-year-old Tamoor Khan and his brother Sharyaar, 16 - was shown to Judge Sean Morris at a sentencing hearing at Teeside Crown Court .
The judge remarked: “It’s like something out of a Dirty Harry movie.”
Prosecutor Harry Hadfield told how Jones had shouted “I’ll kill you black *****” at the boys before producing the gun and following them into their yard from an alleyway on a Saturday afternoon.
