A match between two Brazilian football teams was brought to a temporary halt after players and fans were attacked by a mob of angry wasps.
The game, between Altos and Nacional-AM in Brazil's Serie D, had to stop for six minutes as both players and fans took cover from the winged insects.
Players and match officials lay on the pitch to avoid being stung until the swarm subsided.
The wasps are reported to have been a rare kind - the 'Marimbondos' - which are found only in Brazil and usually feeds on spiders.
