Each morning many people opt to apply make-up to their faces before they start their day - whether to hide blemishes, make themselves feel better or just because they want to.
Most people who do this will probably tell you they look better with it on, that their complexion is smoother, but is that really the case?
Sydney-based beauty blogger, Tina Yong put the theory to the test and took a look at her skin, with and without make-up, under a microscope to see which version looked better.
The results were pretty shocking.
