This is the terrifying moment a man brandished a butcher's knife during a standoff with an armed police SWAT team - after his failed attempt to rob a bank.
The 25-year-old was stopped by police as he tried to leave the bank with two huge sacks of money.
Known only by his surname of Huang, the brazen would-be thief stood his ground and waved his weapon in front of an armoured vehicle to prevent it from leaving.
Footage then shows Huang facing down the van's occupants by pointing a meat cleaver at the windscreen, which he also attempted to shatter with the huge blade.
