This is the incredible moment an eagle-eyed lifeguard rescued a drowning after spotting him struggling in a busy swimming pool.
The youngster is seen in dramatic footage just seconds from going under the water when the brave lifeguard leaps in and saves him in the nick of time.
The boy had been swimming at the packed-out pool enjoying the sunshine when suddenly he begins to struggle.
As he keeps dipping under the surface and bobbing back up again no one around him seems to notice what's going on - which according to water safety experts is common, with half of children who drown dying within 25 metres of a parent or other adult.
