A person named Sai Kumar has tried to end his life in front of the Banjara Hills Police Station in Hyderabad. Sai Kumar, who was mentally disturbed over a dowry dispute case has poured kerosene over him and lit the fire.
The Police constables and an SI immediately tried to put off the fire by pouring sand and other soil particles. It is said that 60% of his body sustained burn injuries.
He is in the critical stage and undergoing treatment in one of the hospitals. According to the version of Sai Kumar, it is learned that he has been targeted in a false case.
