An amazing optical illusion has been shared online by a Japanese scientist and it's blowing people's minds.
The optical illusion appears to show a block changing colour as it is moved across a graded background. In reality the block is the same colour and it's your mind that changes.
This was shared by Akiyoshi Kitaoka, a psychology professor at Ritsumeikan University in Japan.
Where the colour in the background changes the mind makes it appear that the fixed coloured block is doing the changing.
