The body of a partially devoured man has been discovered floating in a pond at a luxury golf resort in Cancun.
The man's corpse was being feasted on by crocodiles when officers arrived on the scene and firefighters were called to keep the reptiles at bay while he was recovered.
Identified from the tattoos on his back, craftwork salesman Juan Carlos L.C. had reportedly been missing for two days when police were called to the golf course.
The 44-year-old was being eaten by the crocodiles in a pond near the Iberostar hotel in the southern Mexican state of Quintana Roo.
