Early morning of Thursday, Sept.20, 2018 by around 6:00 is a tragic day for the residents. The landslide buried an estimate of 30 houses with at least 4 casualties. The rescuers all over Cebu province, especially from the Naga City responded right away. However, a big challenge for the rescuers, hence the land keeps on moving and it will be risky on their side too. The road is too narrow and is difficult for the heavy equipments to get in.
Prior to the accident, there was a crack (as big as a cow) found in such area of the mountain. A heavy rain struck by the dawn, residents hear some resonating sound right before the landslide. The evacuees are now at ECAC (Enan Chiong Activity Center) and have received primary aid.
